This is my best example of architecture photography. This was taken at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dearborn, Mi. I took this around evening so that the light was behind the church, giving it more shadows.

Most of the photos for this assignment were taken near Sacred Heart, or in the Law Quad at the Uiversity of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I tried to capture some of the history of the buildings, while occasionally capturing things that most people wouldn't see.
This is a great photo Kevin. This turned out really nicely. The black and white really brings some life to the photo.
ReplyDeleteKevin, this is an excellent picture. I think the black and white makes the picture better overall. I also like how the top of the building is about on the top 'Rule of Thirds' line. The picture blown-up is a bit grainy. Also you could have shown more of the building. Move the picture to the right so that there is not as much empty space between the tree and the building. Maby center the photo a bit more.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo! I love the angle, it makes the picture more interesting. I like the black and white aspect. The sky looks really cool. My only comment would be to take different angles, instead of the front of the building try the sides or even the back of it. Great photo!
